Pretty sure inflation has easily ate up the higher wages paid for entry level jobs.

Oops, quoted myself, maybe I need another cup of coffee.

I was thinking the same think on my last trip. It's over $2 for a half gallon of milk and over $3 for a pound of hamburger. How long does a half gallon of milk last with a couple of kids in the house? Maybe worse for a lot of people is gas getting up toward $5. I'd hate to be raising a family today.

I can't go to the grocery store any longer for less than $200. If inflation is only 8.3%, then I'm bad at math. I think the govt is BS'ing us.

$6.39 for 93%, no 90% listed

80% for $5.19.

Having the highest prices here compared to others seems odd. Not the biggest ones I have seen, but quite a few cattle ranches around here.

My goof. I haven't bought hamburger in a while. When I said that, I was looking at a grocery chain flyer. It showed hamburger in a value pack (I assume that would be like a 3 pound tube) for $3 a pound with their membership card. Wasn't really paying a lot of attention because I don't shop that store.
