But there was a mysterious drop in the participation rate, which is the number of people working and actively looking for work.

What do they mean "some workers just disappeared." I've never heard phrasing like that when discussing the employment picture in our economy. How do they just "disappear?" I've heard it discussed that people just stop looking for work. What is this magical disappearing act?

Did they die? Has the COVID vaccine taken a bigger toll then anyone cares to reveal?

I think a lot of your disappearing workers were moms with small children who worked part time to help make ends meet. The extra child tax credit and stimulus checks eliminated the need to work for the time being.

There is still a huge shortage of workers in the $15 to $20 range.

We let all these potential workers flood in but give them no recourse to find a job. Cannot use a ITN number on the I9, those with fake ID's and fake Social Security cards are fine however. It is not a employers job to determine what is fake and what is real, E-Verify is the answer but those who can pass and are in the lower wage range are extremely scarce.

Taking the jobs of Americans is a crock of shit and the only thing government is concerned with is getting the tax money, that has been proven time and time again.

Last year's employment numbers showed a weird drop in workers as the Jabs were rolled out.....as in deceased. The numbers automagically corrected in January.
