Bud I Crushed IT!!
In the 5th at Hollywood I hit a $2 ex for $1063.40!
I never play exacta's but played a few yesterday and got lucky and was up to just over $300 in my account. I was playing again today slowly going downhill but I thought don't take it personally just move forward. I had a 4 horse box. When he crossed the finish Vic said Bud he crushed it and you did if you had him because he's over 80 to 1. WOW I like it.

He was one of three horses I used in the race in my P5, P4. Needless to say I missed everything. He was my third choice in the race and I had him boxed with the six and eight.
P5 carryover 183k. 14% takeout.

Nice hit. Just curious, but does that generate a "signer"? If so, how does TVG (or whatever wagering platform that is) handle it, and could you have avoided it by hitting the repeat button on $1 exacta boxes?

Thanks Lambo, and as far as the signer, I don't know. I had one once with Youbet and they sent me a form and I put it on my taxes for that year. I now use Twinspires.

Congratulations on your excellent score!
Expect a W-2G. Whether or not YOU report it, the ADW is required to report it. (I hope this does not dampen your enthusiasm too much.).

Again, don't mean to pry, but I am just wondering how Twin Spires handles this.
1. Do they credit your wagering account immediately, without a signed W-2G?
2. AGAIN, COULD THE W-2G HAVE BEEN AVOIDED WITH THE "REPEAT" KEY, OR DOES THE WAGERING VENUE SPOT THAT IT WAS A COMBINED HIT?
One other point; the 3-7 double came back ridiculously short in races 5/6. What's with that?

They don't withhold anything from it but they do send a W2-G.

All the money is showing up in my account. I don't know if wagering differently would change anything as far as signers go. Thanks everyone for the good wishes.

I use twinspires and they would have sent the W2 either way.

Yes, you can't get around it online...they would aggregate that type of wager...only way to get away with that would be at the track...
