Leonard Cohen...dead at 82.

One of my all-time favorite songwriters/musicians. Rest in peace.

I had downloaded his new album just 2 weeks ago. Very sorry to see him go.

Here is an interview with the real Suzanne. A very strange relationship.
https://www.leonardcohenfiles.com/verdal.html

I have loved his music since I heard Judy Collins sing Suzanne and found out the he wrote it. LC was a poet first and foremost, but also a fine singer. Big Mack was LC's biggest fan. He and I had a lot of discussions about various artists and songs.

Rest in Peace

Always respected him although I admit I never listened to him too much, his vocals are even harder to listen to than Dylan's. I always found him interesting though. Remember the Janis Joplin Chelsea Hotel story? A story he regretted telling.

Have his tunes queued up on my media player.
