You're the one attempting to say that Obama's do-nothing policy with regard to NK was better than Trumps. A policy that I might add led to NK having nuclear weapons and a missile system to deliver them to our shores. And you can honestly type that Trump is messing it all up? I know Chamberlain (oops Obama) is your favorite historical figure, but lay off a little bit. Hussein got us into this mess.

Can anyone confirm/deny recent rumors that the NK nuclear arsenal is larger now
than when talks with Trump began? KJU is playing him like a fiddle.

Hmmm...
North Korea detonated their first device in 2006...
So I guess that kinda torpedoes the whole Obama tirade your post was about.
What would you like to talk about next?

So what? Obama had 8 years to do something about it. In that time, NK developed a delivery capability. Again, what did your boy wonder do about it? Until you decide to put your big boy pants on and admit Obama was an abject failure, you have no room to criticize any other leader.

I never said Obama did anything about it. Nor did I call him a boy wonder.
If your head wasn't so far up Trumps ass you'd notice I actually hammered Obama foreign policy quite frequently. Same when it comes to Trump, when he's done right I've commended him. I applauded both Syria strikes wholeheartedly.
The difference between me and you is I'm not so far partisan I can still think objectively about things. Obama wasn't willing to risk the shelling of Seoul over it. He chose to ignore and let the regime wither on the vine.
Trump and Kim's new BFF status is frankly sickening. On top of that any real work putting the spurs to regime has been undermined by the summit and a moronic trade spat with China not to mention this morons own statements about peace at last...
We have less leverage now than before with absolutely nothing to show for it.
If you can't/won't see that it's not my problem.
You want to bag on Obama for not doing anything go ahead... he's accomplished just as much as your boy on the issue.

No, you said, "Trump's North Korea strategy is the pinnacle of failure...".
I guess if you don't consider Obama's non-policy a failure, then you may have a point. The FACT is that Trump tightened the noose around NK and forced them to the table. Obama was frightened of China and never called them on their embargo breaking. Your failure is believing opinion and wishes are fact.
You seem to be calling the game in the 2nd quarter rather than wait it out. Why?

To those not totally biased, yes, they are.
Things in N Korea are totally not the same as they were early in Trump's term, when it looked as if he was being tested by the li'l bastard.
There is a process going on now that was not for he past decade at least.
Those who can observe objectively can see it.
btw, I see you figure out who I was referring to.

Elections and games are won or lost in the fourth quarter.
In the second, you get to blather and trash talk.

More nonsense...
The game was over in 2006. Nobody bothered telling Trump that.
Then you spout off total revisionist history with Trump "forcing them to the table." If that's the case he's the worst deal maker ever because he got nothing at said table.
Secondly its wrong the Norks repeatedly tried to arrange meetings with the Obama administration and were constantly rebuked. The Obama Administrations plan was simple... stop your program and we'll talk. They never did and still haven't... but hey Trump and him are cool now so there is that.
We can press pause now if you'd like and revisit this again in another 6 months or so and see how we're doing. I'm going to guess nowhere with China continuing to trade with them.
