Tax looks like a very beatable favorite here. He ultimately gave up almost two lengths to the Remsen winner in the final 3/8th after walking the first six panels. He does get benefit of hot rail and rider so I cannot completely toss.
Sir Winston would be a surprise to find the picture here. Decently bred horse has not found his best game on poly and that's about the only angle I see here.
Moretti is the TAP entry and gets the shades. Would need to drastically improve here. His winning maiden breaker was in a painfully slow raw time. Might need a slow pace to breakdown which is something I won't plan on.
Admire will is potentially more dangerous than his last out slop victory suggests however I'd think nine panels is stretching the limit for a Cairo Prince. Dale Romans always make me nervous when I don't use him in these early preps.
Lucky Lee ran a nice allowance last out scoring a 100 Bris figure on a good track. I like this colt and the trainer but have a tough time trusting Parx form. He might need a theft and it's certainly possible given the only other speed on paper being in the seven hole.
Our Braintrust is a female family 23-b and those always need to be monitored. I was not impressed with Jerome however he ran a fair final quarter in approximately 25.4
Not That Brady is the other speed horse but will need a little extra pep to get around the five. I can forgive the 27 second final quarter on drying track last out but he wasn't much better in previous, granted he drew off winning by 11. He's 3 for 3 hitting exacta on the surface.
I don't have a strong opinion here and will consider sitting this one out.
I'd otherwise likely use some combination of
