Wow, this is distressing news...you didn't work on it with anyone else who might have a copy of the source code?
Damn.

Not this last incarnation.
Feel just like an idiot for not having external copy. I thought I did, but apparently not.

I may be able to help
I work with a programmer at my day job and he says he may be able to decompile it with a hex editor since he knows assembly language If you come up with no other options.
He says it will not be easy but in theory can be done especially since it is small
Let me know if you are certain it can not be recovered any other way and we can take a crack at it.

Thanks Doug. Going to pull out the hard disk tomorrow. Had it looked at today, computer that is, and the person said I either fried the motherboard or the power supply. It was a cheap computer for just coding and email.
Once I get it out, if I have time tomorrow, I'm going to see if I can find an external drive I have and put it in and see what happens. If I can't find it, I will go to see Best Buy and try and not get raped by getting a new housine.

Handi,
Did you try just plugging the drive into another computer?
You might not be able to boot it but the drive could be readable.
If you want to send it to me (or come over for a day or so) I can give it to my tech guy if that doesn't work.
Dave
PS: Then I'll be able to sneak a look at all the secret software. ;-)
Oops. Just read your post. Just jump on Miss Victory and come visit. We'll get it back.

It's September 17, 2016 at 7:24pm and all is well with the world. Hardisk removed and inserted in external hard drive case and working like a charm. The ole Handi, computer Wizard/Dumbass has things back in line and humming.
Now there is a copy of Handifast code on this computer and on a separate hard drive....Yea!
Now to get something to eat and relax.

About a week out for a small upgrade. If all goes well I will have a release that will alow the user to, when building analysts, assign negative values to the factors. Up to -250 points per factor.

If I recall, you need to start with the version 9.0 and install it a folder called temphandi and then install the others over it....make sure to use last one's exe file...
