SHARED BELIEF

someone must have opened up the pool with $200,000 bet on the nose looking for a ticket over $2.10. he is scaring away the money. my guess is he will get 2.40 if he wins.

8:24 PM....still 1/9..$311k to win on SB...
Here's something I find a bit amusing...
I checked the P4 will pays. Believe it or not there is a ticket with the on it. If that one wins the P4 pays over $240k...
Now..is there an "all but this horse button"? LOL..."This horse" in this case would be the favorite....
Edit
well, 8:27 pm.....1/5...How about that!

He's miles the best in training, though there was next to nothing in that race.

Big bettors do that all the time, they "Corner the market" sometimes and force you to take "2.10" or bet someone else....but when enough people say "i dont want 2.10" they bet others and you get more. Like 2.40.

Congrats to the connections of Shared Belief.
Now, somebody out there wanna tell co-owner Jim Rome that three piece suits are so 1980's.....
All kidding aside....
Given the presence of at least one G1 winner in field, Moreno, SB made this look like this was a public workout. The horse is on his game now...
Unfortunately, this is not the 70's where great handicap horses would face each other 3, 4 or even 5 times in a season No more. with there being a plethora of graded races with inflated purses all over the country, and now half way across the planet, lots of other connections will be ducking SB until Breeders Cup.....

When you have the money Rome does, you set trends, you don't follow them

I'm amazed they didn't do the Dubai route, he'd have been 1/5 for a 10 million dollar purse.

They would only be ducking him if there was a race that SB was in that they would have otherwise went in but decided not to.

This horse is going to take some stopping, assuming he stays healthy.
With a bit of luck, he will be notching top class wins for years to come

That serious money didn't scare me at all! It just made the Super & Super Hi-5 easier to hit!

I believe Jim Rome is Jewish. He would not be welcome in dubai especially if he was ever in Israel and the stamp was on his passport.
