I 100% do not buy the magic bullet theory. I would love to see that re-enacted. Bullets are made of soft materials or they would damage barrel rifling or misfire. To think a bullet did what they claimed and wasn't seriously deformed is madness.
What did that particular bullet do? Why was it magical?

Genuinely curious as I don't know much about the theory.

I call and raise you more than a few steel skyscrapers that have burned for way longer and were left standing.

Including at least one that burned for 24+ hours in England not too long ago.

Just read the first paragraph, that should be enough. Note they found the bullet on a gurney and it was in perfect condition after all it did.

The fireproofing was only rated for so long.

Grenfell Tower also went up like a cinder unlike any of the WTC towers. I also think its significantly smaller.

Different designs do different things. If I buy a gun-safe that's fire rated that rating has a shelf life of usually a couple of hours.

We aren't really debating the effects of heat on metal are we?

Nope.

No way that bullet travelled through that much mass without expansion/deformity. Especially not when hitting with that much energy.

Even if a bullet could possibly be made out of a harder metal that story would be doubtful, since it supposedly went through so many objects. Made of copper and lead that could be damaged by throwing down on cement the theory is utter nonsense. Not sure if they just don't want to say "We don't know" or something is being covered up. I go with the former, just because I think someone would have made a death bed confession somewhere if they knew something.
