Been following her since before her first start when she worked lights out at FL. Snyder is a great guy and he deserves some joy in his life.

Wonder if she gets an upgrade now from: "She's one of the best horses I've ever had."

Bill Finley wrote an article yesterday that talked about her foot issues, along with the origin of her name

Lets not get too carried away here. She looked very good today, But I don't think I would wager on her if she was running against Rachel Alexandra off what she has done so far.

Of course you wouldn't nor would anybody else. This is a great story about a guy and his one horse. One of the few great "rags to riches" stories to come out of racing in quite awhile. Clubfoot, blind in one eye and undefeated.

This is a really nice sprinter here...I'd see her around these ungraded stakes (or maybe G3s) for awhile. I just re-read that NY Times article, and love it hearing stories of these people that make something from nothing, especially in the field of horses!

The DRF is reporting that along with the Victory Gallop, they're also considering trying her on the turf in the Lake Placid on 8/22..

I just went through 7 tissues reading this. I recognized her name because she scratched the other day, but I had NO idea of the back story. Don't you just know that the owner/trainer treats this horse like a queen! I now have two new heroes; Lisa and Mr. Tim Snyder.

Awwwww, come on. Don't be such a kill-joy. No one said she was on that level......however, wouldn't it be great if she could do that??!! I'd bet on her in a heartbeat

Hellofva great story!

It's stories like this that make the game so great. I wish the guy good luck. And thanks to the folks on the board for giving me a heads up on this story.

I love this part of the game. I hear the "Rocky" theme song now...

Go Lisa Go!

Nice story

I picked her to win and so did Clocker Lawton at the track. A lot of people from Finger Lakes area bet on her today. Every race she has won by a clear margin, great story, I hope she keeps going for him.
