I suggest from here on out, everyone gets one "mulligan" out of bounds slip-up......After that, red-card must be imposed as events will happen that will make things real testy very soon, one way or the other.

It is better to reward posters with positive cards than red ones...mostly people like others letting them know "what a great post that was, instead of "wow, what a colossal jerk you are"... A little praise goes along way...in a very real sense, any group that remains cohesive is a form of mutual admiration society, whether we admit it or not...kudos to all

Fair is fair, red ticket is mentioned like a week +. The roll out is meant to be equidistant from its beginning, to be fair Mike prefaces his intentions going forward. We are all witness to someone being told to cool it then hanging himself with his own rope. Everyone should take note sharp teeth are being added for shaping posts to exclude posting behavior that hurts feelings. The gut feeling is some will pretend they never saw this or don't visit OT that often

Like I said, you can continue calling public figures names all you'd like...that was never intended to be frowned upon.
"Name calling" is only an offense when done to other registered members here on this forum.

What we're talking about here is totally different then the reputation points system you seem to be talking about. What we're talking about here is totally under the control of moderators.
