Why was the game delayed so long?
Were they taking a page from Gulfstream and waiting for the ratings to go up?

I confess to tuning in last night to the TV in the other room. I probably watched 2 minutes of it to see the score, plus the last 30 seconds of the game.

They are doomed due to demographics and serious health problems due to playing football. The 35 and under crowd favors basketball. For them football is too boring, not enough action. Also, basketball players are far more athletic as a whole.

Add alienating some of your base to the demographic and serious health issues problem the NFL may not go bankrupt, but it will certainly lose market share of the sports market resulting in a substantially less valuable franchise.

The league would be in far worse shape if it wasn't for fantasy football.
