So, they came up with a common sense solution: Sell their black captives to white buyers. It was a huge win-win all around for both parties to the slave trade. The tribal chiefs got rid of potential enemy threats and traded them up for more useful and practical items. And the demand for slaves in Europe and America was big, so there was plenty of profit to be had for the white traders.
This is the dirty little secret that liberals don't want us to know.

Now instead of being members of a tribe, they are members of a gang and shoot their neighboring gangs.
I am all for reparations - anyone wanting it should get a one-way ticket to any country in Africa, with a promise of no return.

"should he seek re-election"
I want him to run and get ripped by a dem and have him talk about the millions of illegals who cast ballots and cost him the election.
would not surprise me in the least that President Trump just slinks out the backdoor January 20, 2021 instead of handing off the baton to the man or woman who defeated him.

To the victor belongs the spoils, Don beat Hillary. Fair and square.
I wonder how you felt when Obama beat landslided John Mcain and then 4 years later beat Mitt Romney on the square.
I imagine it was about the same for us hillary supporters.
Its all cyclical.
If you live long enough like I have (61 years of political ups and downs)
the dems will recover and regain the white house eventually. Even when the dems held the white house for 20 years (33-53) you knew the Rs would stage a comeback. the greatness of the two party system and our republic.

If the election were next week, Trump would defeat every single Dem that would possibly run. Next time, he won't have to get into the gutter to win either. He has a record now, and it isn't a bad one at all. Low unemployment. Lower taxes. Less regulation. Attacking illegal immigration and MS-13. Containing the nuclear threats abroad. Defeated ISIS. There isn't one politician out there that wouldn't like to run on that record, including democrats.
I will further predict that Trump will get 25% of the black vote in 2020. The tides are changing with regard to the monolithic voting record of blacks, and Trump has started and will continue to go after that low hanging fruit.

I'll see you the day after the election in 2020.
One of us will have tail between his legs.
The biggest challenge for trump is to hold onto the states he won in 2018.
as we saw in PA-18 that might not be as easy as 2018.
The biggest challenge for the democratic party candidate is to make inroads into Trumps base in the states he won and hold onto the states Hillary won that were close (virginia, New Hampshire etc).

You put an inordinate amount of stock in the outcome of PA-18. The democrat ran with Trump, not Pelosi and the dems. The GOP guy was a lump on a log, and wouldn't campaign. What that tells me, and I can see it already in yesterday's primaries, is that the GOP will be selecting candidates even more carefully than before, and Trump especially so.

Not even close. When Trump won, I literally got up and did a happy dance. First time in my life, either as a child or an adult.
Driving home @ 2am on election night, I was cheering in my car.
Never before had I acted with such emotion (either positive or negative) after an election.
When Obama won (both times), I was like, meh.

So when (if) President Trump loses how will you feel (I know this is a hypothetical) in 2020. will it be a downer?

Ran with Trump? Trump endorsed his opponent and he called Lamb. "lamb the sham". somehow that does not sound like an ringing endorsement. LOL
Just like yesterday, if Blankenship in WV won would you say he ran with Trump even though Trump supported his opponents.
you cant have both ways.

Absolutely both can be true. Blankenship said he is more Trump than Trump, even though Trump disavowed him. Lamb disavowed many Dem party planks in favor of Trumpian ideas. The GOP candidate in PA lost the race because he was a horrible candidate. I saw him give a five minute speech, and it was four minutes too long. He didn't have an original thought in his brain.

No democratic candidate will make "inroads" into states he won because those who voted for him, despite whatever fallacy you hold on to, would NEVER go back.

To the democrats' credit they went for moderate candidates in yesterday's primary rather than the socialist wackos. One case in point is Dennis Kucinich. How is he even still around?
