Special Butter's Corner! :D

I think a Corner Thread where I put most of my thoughts and feelings would be ideal as at least one person has implied I am becoming annoying. I went from posting like ONE post after being a Member here for almost three years to suddenly posting a lot randomly recently like a crazy person. In fact, I recently have like 45 posts in just about a couple of weeks whereas I had just ONE post for almost three years! O.O think a Corner thread would be the perfect balance lest I end up banned from here like at another place that I got banned shortly after joining after starting like 10 threads in just like 5 days. Even The Admins on that other website straight up called my threads stupid garbage. I then was shortly banned from that other website.

The story he passed off as his, was posted 10 years ago on a Michael Jackson forum. It was very long & ended with high school aged boys coming out as gay.

Some health conditions are cyclical. Esp. if you go off your meds. This isn't meant as an insult, just the truth of how our brains act, in particular, someone with a bipolar disorder (my SIL).

Esp. when there are possible gambling addiction features involved.

I'm not gonna vote on it, but I would say that this is not really the correct forum/ board for help with either of those things.

I also do not look at "being banned" as always a negative thing. It does not have to have negative connotations. Sometimes it's just best that people end up where they have the *best fit* and in this case, I don't think special butter has found that here, nor will he/she.

Sometimes, indulging people isn't good for them or the indulgers either.

This is really more of a horse racing board than a casino board, by the way.

Yeah, I know. My very first thread on here was about Horse Racing. I tend to hang out in the Off-Topic Section mostly. I feel with most of my postings being so random that Special Butter's Corner would be ideal as a few people have already implied that I am becoming annoying which I begun to figure out on my own.

On another website which I am banned from, I had my own Corner that was a big hit for about a year until I blew up on an Admin on a fed up cussing rant on a thread that was NOT part of my Corner and was subsequently banned. The post that led to me being fed up with The Admin was a post scolding me for hijacking a thread when I made a humorous reply to a post that someone said.

I wasn't hijacking as it was a reference to something already brought up by someone else. Even other Posters stood up for me when I was accused of hijacking that thread. I didn't know I was going to be Banned when I did the cussing rant. I honestly was expecting a one month Suspension as that Admin had been particularly mean to me and even other Posters mentioned the I was right as the Admin had been allowed to be nasty to me without consequences and they were surprised I didn't stand up for myself way before that cussing rant.

Here is an example of this Admin being nasty to me. When I was a Newbie there, I was being unfairly bullied by sone older Members. I asked The Admin for help, and.... Instead of scolding My Bullies, The Admin threatened to ban me instead! WHAT? A few Posters mentioned how incredibly messed up it was that The Admin threatened to ban the Victim who asked for help instead of threatening to Ban the Bullies!

Your ideas about "having a corner" are somewhat misplaced and misguided.

Columnists in media, as well as in horse racing media, EARN their corner, that is why they have a corner, and people go to it.

You don't just get to "designate" a corner for yourself. If you have something valuable to share, that corner you are seeking will develop itself, on it's own merit.

You don't seem to understand this.

You can have a corner out in front of your house, with a lemonade stand for instance, but you will have to produce very good lemonade, before anyone heralds your little spot. Otherwise, all you got is a tabletop with some pitchers on it and a painted sign. If that is a corner for you, then go for it. Without something of value it's going to be a "lonely corner." With you+yourself as the only inhabitants.

I was trying to strike a Happy Medium with this Corner Thread.

More proof that people don't actually read all the posts in a thread.
