I went through fast, but did anyone say the Godfather? "I'm going to make an offer he can't refuse."

Or the Wizard of Oz. "Toto, I've got a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore."

Taxi Driver, "You talkin' to me."

It's been a difficult month. I haven't been particularly active - kind of low on fuel. I picked up my second septic infection in my right arm. My forearm looks like Popeye. The Dr. was worried enough that he made a house call today instead of waiting for regular office hours on Monday. He gave me a shot of Rocephin to hold me until then. In my condition I've became highly susceptible to these infections and it takes heavy-duty drugs to clear it up.

I'm still waiting for the results of my latest bone marrow biopsy. That will let me know if the leukemia is still controlled. It's been a little past two years since the diagnosis. That seems to be a critical point.

I appreciate everyone's thoughts very much. I'll give updates as I can.

My best wishes for a complete and speedy recovery go out to you as well, Rich. MIRACLES can happen if we remain strong of spirit...I've seen it with my own eyes.

I really do thank everyone who has sent me good wishes. I've been playing hide and seek with death for a couple of years. Whether it is prayer or just human sympathy, know that your messages mean a lot to me. I certainly hope I'm around long enough to meet some of you in person. If you happen to find yourself in Denver, I'd love to have a drink with you.
