Two or so weeks ago retired-jockey Victor Molina was arrested for embezzling money over many years while a Parx representative of the Jockey's Guild.
Not a single word about this serious situation was written in the two local newspapers, The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News, as far as I could tell. Of course, both the DRF and The Blood Horse probably missed this also.
Two 'journalists' long-associated with both newspapers have long held jobs at Parx -- one produces a race-day selection/tout sheet and the other co-hosts the Parx weekly TV show with the usual replays and 'news' commentary. So it is safe to say nothing was coming forward from these two ...
