Glad to hear it. Hand times are shaky at best, and downright awful at other times like in this case. Bettors should know what they are getting.

Good ole Gulfstream Park .... no times in the 5th yesterday. But they reported a 5 foot run-up. Now that's funny.

I'm sure a time will show up eventually, but trust it at your own peril.

Not a great opening day from Keeneland from a timing perspective. Two races with no times given at all, and at least two where Keeneland is reporting run up that isn't close to reality. Races 7 and 10 are way longer than 34 feet. If you click on the link, it is a thread I did which gives video times for the races that don't have any.

Thanks, CJ...at least someone cares - the tracks OBVIOUSLY do not.

Run-ups for one mile turf races run in lane 2 will be corrected shortly.

From 34 to 143 is quite a change. Tracks seem pretty sloppy with run up reporting. It is actually important information in my opinion that should be given more diligence. Otherwise, why bother listing it? I wonder how long this would have gone on at Keeneland if I hadn't checked it.

Might not seem like much but in race 7 at Zia yesterday the finish was almost a dead heat but chart says won by a Neck. It was so close I couldn't tell who won with the slow motion replay. Anyways, I know this isn't a fractional time. Just seems important and makes me wonder. So now, beaten length total will be off atleast a neck (.25 length) for rest of the field. Think that would also translate to around .6 Beyer speed figure points?

My co-worker David found that Belmont's first on 9-28 was ~1.00 seconds too slow at every call. I timed it and came up with 0.92, so deduct that from what is in your database and you'll be very close to reality.

I imagine Ellis will catch this one.
Zia ran three thoroughbred races on Sunday and every one was hand timed. Hard to believe tracks care when this stuff is allowed to go on at certains ones (like Zia) year after year after year.

I'd recommend ignoring the fractions for R7 at GPW on 10-9. A loose horse triggered some of them. Final time seems ok.
