Isn't Private Zone going in the Mile? Am I missing something? Because I'm pretty sure Liam's Map needs the lead and Private Zone can probably go :44 and change to the half in a two turn mile.

Private Zone is most likely going into the sprint. All the Breeders Cup Dirt Mile has done is water down the Breeders Cup, what's next the Breeders Cup 7/8's? Maybe the Breeders Cup 1 1/8 Turf??

The kicker is that the dirt mile is yet again not being run at a mile.

Yeah but how do they pick a race without knowing where Private Zone goes?

I am right that his chances dramatically hurt Lam's Map?

So weak. Guess the Pletch is really tired of looking at his piss poor BC percentage.

He certainly wasn't going to win the Classic, which looks like a race between the 3 year olds and Beholder. So they have to go somewhere.

Has Honor Code 100% committed to the Classic yet?

According to some this would be race fixing.

Word is, all the pedants are skipping the race for precisely that reason. You are not alone

Maybe they make this announcement to scare PZ into the sprint.

Doesn't anyone think the mile is the better distance for him versus the Classic?

If I remember correctly he can run 8f in sub 95 which I think is pretty good.

I would put him in the mile if I owned him. Keeneland is not Santa Anita, his chances of going wire to wire in the classic are remote.
