Lady Aurelia was rated 135 by Timeform for her romp today at Royal Ascot, and quite a performance it was.

Just finished watching on tape. What a great show that was. She did it easy and they really cheered her performance.

Was it a track record or not?

You have to admit, they seemed to be having fun right down to the guys repairing the grass. Hell of a nice looking event

I don't know how good Lady Aurelia is at 6F but there is a $1M bonus if she can win 2 more races in another 2 countries. The HK Sprint at the end of year would be one of the 2 for obvious reasons. That leaves the Sprinters Stakes in Japan in Oct or the Darley Classic in Aus in Nov.

If she turns out to be that special, I'd wait til her 4yr old campaign and map out a plan to go for the $1M bonus if the Global Sprint Challenge is still there next year.

There's a $10 million race in Australia in October, the Everest... I think they'll end up in the Breeders Cup because 6f is probably stretching it... not sure if/where they'll prep before other than the Nunthorpe?

I'm watching on DVR again. I just watched a mile race with 29 runners

Amazing!

It looked like the charge on Aqaba from Lawrence of Arabia!

Great stuff

Big prices on day 2

Why are they not showing the payouts after the races? They show the odds of each winner thru position 4 but never any payouts?

I think this is a english feed on nbcs and the bookie prices are all different, which are different from our pool.

A mile on the straight with a large field is so cool to watch.

That's right! I forgot about the bookies. You might get a different price from different books, right?

All I know about British racing I learned from Andy Capp (the comic) and OTM AL who tried to school me at Toga. I fear the comic and AL both had a fool for a pupil

They are so much more transparent. Taking us all into the stewards room while they interrogate the jockeys.

This is great.
