Congratulations!

Congratulations to all the top finishers! I'll wait a few days until the Contest Results are made official, then get in contact with the prize winners to make arrangements for sending out the prize payments.

Thank you all for participating in this long standing PaceAdvantage tradition, I hope everyone had some fun - perhaps made some real $$$.

Ted

Congrats to the winners...so how many contest days were there? Trying to figure out who finished in the black. To those who were paying attention, is it safe to assume that most everyone wagered the full $200 per contest day?

This contest went on for about four months, yes? About 16 weeks...that's 32 contest days...200 per day...about $6400 wagered...plus you have the holidays and you have a cancellation or two? Might even itself out...then again, you weren't required to wager every contest day.

By my crazy f'n gorilla math, I figure at least top 10-15 finished in the black? That's pretty good.

LAP 520 calculated there were 31 days to the contest, so 6200 would be the number for those who played every time and bet the max, so 1- 16 made a guaranteed profit but I know I myself missed 5 or 6 days for various reasons.

~ RDSS 2017 Ridersup Memorial Aqueduct Inner Track Challenge ~

There were 31 contest days that were conducted on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays that Aqueduct raced on the Inner Dirt Track between December 10th 2016 and March 26th, 2017.

NYRA had scheduled 33 weekend and Holiday race dates. However, two days were cancelled in January 2017 due to severe weather.

Congratulations to the Winners !

Thanks again guys. Every season that I remember to play I seem to get a little better at the strategery element even if my actual handicapping is tailing off.

And at this point having one demanding constant a couple of times a week is good for me to practice the grind. There were many a weekend especially in the mid-to-late stages where I was all-out to get motivated to look at the card at all. Between the contest and EMD's NYRA gabfest thread, it's a good kick in the ass to make me maintain some tether to horse racing as work in some form.

Checking my records, I played 26 days, and played the full 200 each day.

Won 16,498.50 (Had a maximum on 3-19 - won 10,645.00, so didn't get 5,645.00)
Cost 5,200.00
Profit 11,298.50

Looks like I should have played real money on my picks.

A little late with this, but I neglected to thank two more folks who deserve our collective thanks. So, thanks to PaceAdvantage for allowing contests like these, and to Ted Craven for providing the monetary incentives to participate.

Horizontal wagers like the Pick 4 have been something that I am particularly weak at, so hats off to the prize winners!
