Mon results

looks like we lost $103.00 total for the day.. Show bets were up over 100 dollars. But were all about totals. So wps for the past week or so is $1480 Or so... Todays card sucked, not many jumped out at me but I tried them anyway. Results are reflective. not many winners but plenty ran in the money. Some want an email list of my bets. Im fine with that just send me a note and I will add them for you. Trying to get an idea on poly scenarios tobet. We will study for a while then bet.

Hellish nightmare

Wow today really sucked... up $790 total....our email concerning closers in speed races did not do well but we had one horse fall in the stretch that was a winner or second and another bled or something.. We will play that angle tomorrow as it would have been ok except for 2 freak occurrneces. All 3 best bets ran in and returned $50 profit for 20 across. Not much concellation.

Unless you are going to post them publicly, please don't discuss theoretical P&L. It means nothing if we can't see the picks beforehand.

BTW, congrats on your earlier picks that were posted here....

Just curious:
You mentioned something in an earlier post about including a 5% rebate in the totals.
Are your won/loss updates the actual total net, OR adding in a rebate?

thurs results...

We won $180 on $20wps wagers tonight. Up $980 so far. The show picks broke even but would have won your $90.00 if bet to place. Lots of action and entertainment today.. We had a $54.00 winner. Looked like a big day . Well take the win.

Note for the sick gamblers

For those of you that get up everyday and need to bet something, merely breaking even at this game or winning period beats the heck out of losing 10 or 20k a year. If i can give you action and you dont lose your rent or car payment betting pick 3 or exactas, then your feeding the monster and your wallets arent empty. I know plenty of these folks. This game is more addictive than crack for most of us. What if you could have action and make a few grand instead. OK haters let me have it.

Either your picks are winning or they aren't. What's to hate?

However, I will hate it when you finally point me to the web site where I can sign up for $40/month.

I checked your picks the first day and your 31 picks ($62) returned $74 for win, $65.30 for place and $68.7 for show....

I've been too lazy to check any other days....

Again, why do you expect "hate" to come your way?

Huh?
He clearly posted this longshot pick in his 12:34 p.m. post -- he wasn't late at all! (Dont understand why Orrug2k didn't point this out in his rebuttal rather than a rather smart ass answer that will surely antagonize.)

One the one hand, no wonder the guy is defensive. People are LOOKING to knock him down. So he's a bit arrogant -- at least he's winning. (See below for one caveat.)

Why are people looking to jump on him (including PA) just because he will inevitably be selling his picks? If I ever decide (haw, haw, haw) to sell picks on the web, I sure as hell would want to establish a track record giving them out "live" for free before asking people to pony up $$$ on faith alone.

Lots of people post here with ulterior motives, not just those looking to make a buck on selections.

I will, however, agree that PA has one very important and cogent point Orrug should say upfront if he will eventually begin charging people for the picks. It's a little bit of a come-on to say they are "free," and then suddenly starting charging when the bait is set.

Using language like "We're won 180..." does lead me to believe the "We" are
him, the people behind his website and/or "clients."

So come on, Orrug, I'm impressed. (Not that I'm a potential client, mind you).

Are you or are you not leading up to pushing a website?
And if you are, you had better take out an ad on PA or you have an obscene amount of chutzpah and should be banned.
