You know who pays attention to and reacts to polls?
Politicians, Trump included.

The term is pretty appropriate.

Trump is the least of the poll watchers in DC when it comes to policy.

His "compromise" offer over the weekend disagrees.
If you're winning you let the opposition wither on the vine... only one side is doing that and it isn't the White House.

Yes.
Adults, including the President, came to an agreement to pass bills funding government. Then at the last minute the President changed his mind and reversed course in bad faith. As a result some 800,000 people are working without pay.
The reason I know that Trump is the sole person behind this is because Mitch McConnell would have NEVER passed those CR's back in December if he knew the President was going to veto them. Pence when to the Hill, met with McConnell, the CR's were then introduced and passed unanimously.

Which is why you're consistently wrong on how this stuff plays out.
Remember when Trump was holding out for a better deal a year ago?
Do you want to donate to AOC or Justin Amash?

I having trouble figuring out which bothers you more. His superior intellect. Or the fact that he's almost always right.

The economy will survive. Hell, it survived Obama.
People are making more money, blue collar workers are doing well. Manufacturing is doing well.
We can survive a few months for the cause.
