Rode a triple today (4-6) including Ward's horse in the 5th. The Cancel pick 3 paid $531.00 ..of which I had none.

He knows enough to push out of the gate and use a horse's speed.
That puts him a head of a lot of the alleged more experienced riders on the ground.

cancel rode race 5 today like an amateur, his strategy should have been to save every inch of ground, he was riding a no hoper, he needed to not be 10 wide in the lane. Retrospectively it didn't matter, but you don't know that before the race. He didn't seem to know his situation, it was a typical 'canned' ride not knowing if he's on a 30-1 or a 3-5.

He's a bug boy that's why you get the 5 pounds. but I'll pass along your astute observation partner, he's learning ........

SRU I love you but he did nothing wrong in that race.
Right after the start the 2 took his spot (the best spot, the pocket). He had a choice, overchoke down to the 2nd pocket, behind the 2, or sit next to the 2. He sat 2 wide right next to the winner in super slow splits and when the race quickened the poor horse could not keep up at all.
Even if he had the pocket, his horse would've created traffic behind him when he would've backed up.
It definitely wasn't a race where a bomb could suck up. Not with that pace.
I love ya buddy but I have to disagree on this one.
I don't like ANY jockey not named Ramon Dominguez but I have an affinity for Cancel as he does the 1 simple thing the other mental midget parasite pinheads from hell don't do: He lets a horse run from the gate.
