It's not guaranteed support. Even Trump can run out of time.
But the only thing most care about is getting Gorsuch confirmed.
It's all gravy after that.

Why be nice JR, the truth is that it is all gravy. Trump will replace this beaut, the left will be running around like a really bad stubbed toe for months when it happens. Chuck Schumer will make John Boehner look like Mr Dry Eye soon enough.

"This is a mess," Trump said about his own news conference. "An unbelievable mess."

CNN headlines about the conference on Wolf Blitzer's Situation Room were RANTING AND RAVING.
|
It was the CNN idiot who were ranting and raving.
I loved how Trump pointed a finger right at the racist drunk Lemon.
CNN is a disgrace.
Wolf is a joke. HE is to news what pay toilets are to a construction site.
That was undoubtedly the best press conference I have ever seen, and the first I ever saw was Ike.

The Donald has a yuge, bigly case of foot-in-mouth disease. http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/20/politi...ncy/index.html
"I'm going to be working for you, I'm not going to have time to go play golf," Trump said at the time.
"He (Obama) played more golf last year than Tiger Woods. We don't have time for this. We don't have time for this. We have to work."
"Can you believe that, with all of the problems and difficulties facing the US, President Obama spent the day playing golf," Trump tweeted in October 2014. "Worse than Carter."
Trump has visited his two golf courses near his Mar-a-Lago estate -- Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach and Trump National Golf Course in Jupiter -- six times in his first month in office.

Something new called working weekends.
"complicated business, folks
complicated business"
In other news Trump interviews candidates for National Security Advisor at
Mar-a-Lago over weekend, announces Army Lt. Gen. H. R. McMaster
and his Chief of Staff General Keith Kellogg.

Of course a president can have working weekends. The article mentioned that on one of the trips he golfed with the Japanese Prime Minister. Perfectly normal behavior.
What went over your head (or maybe not) is that The Donald did not approve of President Obama's golfing habits, and stated that he would always work for the people and wouldn't have time to play golf.
The Hypocrite-in-Chief is an embarrassment to himself and the country.

There is a big hypocrite on this BBS who used to talk about Tom's posting during company hours, but could not come to grips with someone salary who works 60 to 70 hours a week. I would suggest you would enjoy the Communist News Network better than here any day. There is no doubt in my mind that Donald J. Trump will log more hours on the job than Obama ever did. The things that might have kept the President young was getting out and being very active, I will worry about the President if he slows down.

All politicians are hypocrites.
You may be right.
I know that a politician crafts his or her words carefully, allowing for great latitude in interpretation. They might offer a chicken in every pot, and some citizens will immediately think of baked chicken, while others might visualize steamed chicken.
After the politician is elected - surprise, surprise - he/she was talking about Tex-Mex chicken strips the whole time.
Damn hypocrite.
I won't rehash all of The Donald's campaign statements and promises here - the ones that were lies - even though I'm ecstatic about his change of mind in some areas, like spending $25 billion on the wall, for example. Of course, Congress forced his hand there, and I hope they keep the pressure on this man who would be king.
At one time or another during a lifetime, everyone is a hypocrite, so I believe, in that scenario, that all politicians have been or will be hypocrites.
