WOW! Impressive resume!
In Afghanistan, and now in Germany, Lavezza is responsible for keeping computer networks up and running in intelligence operations centers.
Best of luck to you!

Congratulations Chris !!!!
Hi Chris, your story about qualifying for the NHC while serving from Kabul, Afghanistan is inspiring. I too, qualified for the NHC this year and cannot wait to get out to Red Rocks. I'm flying out to Vegas Baby on Wednesday, hoping to get acclimated before I have to really engage my brain.
If I don't win I hope you do! It would be a great American success story.
TEJAS KIDD, I wish you success as well. I know you've been in this event in the past. Quick question: the information the NTRA sent me indicated that we had to get our selections in 5 minutes before post..... Seems rather insane and unrealistic to not have a better idea of the odds I can expect on my choice once the race begins. As it is, the concept of relative value is, and in your own words, irrelevant with the $2 Win Place format. I agree and would prefer a live money format. We have 7 tracks to chose from, and of those 7 some of the pools aren't that big, especially on Friday, and there is the potential for much fluctuation in the final moments leading up to post time. Is it true that we cannot get our pick in with a minute or two to go? If so, that sucks. I could wager on a 12/1 horse 5 minutes before post and watch it go off at 6/1.
Good Luck to Chris, TEJAS KIDD and any other board members here at PA who are competing this weekend at Red Rocks, or at the Orleans. Maybe us PA board members who are competing in the NHC this year should make plans for a friendly get together. Good Luck to all!!
Bob

Bob: As I stated earlier in this thread, I will also be in Vegas, and would welcome the opportunity to meet many of you in person. I met Richard Bauer (one of the PA members) for a day of racing at Tampa Bay Downs last year and it was a lot of fun. Anything you want to set-up for everyone to meet is fine with me, just let me know the details either here or via pm......
