Seems like Kent is having more of these issues now than when he was younger. Midlife crisis? (Not that 41 is that old)

I would advise him NOT to use the Eddie Arcaro defense: "I wasn't trying to hurt him; I was trying to KILL him."

Calvin Borel tries to kick JJ Castellano's ass at the BrCup
Robbie Albarado gets arrested for beating his wife
Kent Desormeaux tries to run down a guard

Crazy Cajun boys...i bet Mark Guidry went back to riding because he missed all the fun

If I wanted to hurt someone it wouldn't be with a vehicle. This is obviously a clear cut case of a Napoleonic complex.

Guard must have been lanky.

Be interesting to hear Kents side of the story. Could it possibly be that the security guard was trying to stop him from entering somewhere and Kent was like "do you know who i am" and the guy was like "no" and Kent was like YES YOU DO IM FREAKIN KENT J DESORMEAUX, IM THE GUY WHO STOPPED RIDING PADDY O PRADO IN THE KY DERBY AND BLEW 2ND MONEY FOR MY OWNERS"

Lets hope its just a big misunderstanding.

The guards sometimes are clueless, saw a guard try to stop T Pletcher from entering the racetrack the other day.

The guards are supposed to know who 'famous' racing personalities are. That's on the guard for not knowing. (if that was indeed the case)
