PENN wagering rules
I had a horse scratch in the first leg of a pick 3 a couple of months ago and youbet did not give me a refund for that horse. They said that they emailed the Penn racing office and were notified that the rules are that you get the post time favorite for the first leg in case of a scratch.
I've never heard of this...only for 2nd and third legs. Any one have a link to the rules, or think this is wrong?

No link but I've had the same thing happen more than once there. One reason to bet as close to post time as possible.

One reason to bet after they've completed the first quarter mile.

PENN wagering rules
Here's one of my PENN wagering rules. IF I ever think of betting that track again in the future.....don't bet TRIFECTAS, SUPERFECTAS, PICK 4's or PICK 6's there. Why you ask? Take a look at the link below. That'll tell you why:

What, you don't like the idea of them taking out over a quarter of your money out for the take

Buddha,
You got that right...lol. Anyone looking at a track takeout chart, can see what a rip off these kind of exotic bets are at Penn National.

I do think it's wrong, but it's always been the way they've done it there. That and the takeout are two strikes right from the start...

Yea, Philly is just as bad. Must be a PA state law for the take, or they are both just stupid.
