Good for them.
Someone has a foreign policy.
Some one has balls.
Some one knows who the enemy is.

Direct almost immediate retaliatory action.
Hello? Anybody out there?

A bit too immediate to be believed... Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Israel has been itching for the fight in Syria. This gave them the opportunity.

Mr Federman was very thorough in his description of the attack on the Israeli teenager...but he neglected to inform us on any "collateral damage" resulting from the retaliatory Israeli strikes.

Not Israels responsibility. I remember the old saying "you started it, I"ll finish it".

Yup. If you don't want collateral damage, don't start it.
If you start it, shut up.

Yeah...but it was reported in the article that it was UNCLEAR at the time of the retaliatory strikes whether or not the Syrian government was indeed responsible for the attack which killed the Israeli youth. It was also clearly reported in the article that Israel would consider any attack to be Syria's fault...even if the attack was carried out by one of the many rebel groups that Syria is in conflict with.
If I were the leader of one of these rebel groups...and I knew that Israel would blame Syria for any attack on Israel...wouldn't that prompt me to carry out such attacks on Israel myself -- and watch with delight as Syria got the blame?

Now we do it even better.
We attack countries on the mere THOUGHT that they might present a danger to us sometime in the future.
"Pre-emptive strike"...I believe they call it. And only one or two countries in the world are allowed to partake of such an activity.

Israel has a leader as head of state. We don't.

I remember SH firing upon a US Air Force jet more than once.
That is grounds for war.
And SH had already invaded Kuwait, so it's not like we just decided to go in.
After 9/11, you don't wait to be attacked.
