Meadowlands Sat 4/7
Here’s a breakdown of the first few:
R1: 3624 Can’t see 6 outkicking these if he doesn’t leave.
R2: 5 26$ Andy lost with 2 heavy chalks last night.
R3: 13 79$6 2 Wouldn’t be surprised if Pat finds a way to lose this one.
R4: 56 21 Durant is sharp, but I can’t endorse his driver. Beware.
R5: 32 85 Big driver improvement for David’s Dream.

P4
I think I'm done with P4's.
Too frustrating and the net return isn't that great even when you hit.

The quality of some of those races is getting so bad. You can probably auto-toss half the field, but then you are left with inconsistent favs.
At least the pools are still on the way up. (I think.)
Also, there is some value out there in single races if you like a “B-driver” with a respectable horse.

Glad somebody else is experiencing this too. After looking at all my bets at the Meadowlands this year, my worst results are non winners 1 or 2, non winners of $3500 last 5 , $7500 claimers and trot races. Really cuts down on what I can play, but what else to do?

Historically, I was a huge fan of the deep fields and high quality, consistent horses at M1. The racinos have lured most of the good horses away and capping became difficult at M1 due to the low quality, inconsistent horses in the field.
Things improved a bit earlier this season before Pocono opened up. Now things have regressed again and I feel like I have to either find weakness in a fav or I have to find a horse that had one good race line in his last 5 and hope there is value and a B-driver there, preferably with an inside post. I’ve confidently called a few bombers to win or hit the board, but I’ve also tossed weak favs only to tear up my digital tix.
I can’t believe that Gural can’t fork over the cash to card 3 or 4 decent races per night. It’s hard to remain a fan when you have to play “no name” horses every Fri/Sat night.
