Not gonna pull my hair out over this one I was trying to beat (like many others), but it's a lot of money redistributing in the pools. Looks like  Two Phils is taking his share of that.
Just when I was about to concede including in some savers. Every time I revise my wagers, someone else drops out...

I have not been using Forte for my own reasons but thank you Todd for saying he was fine after that hiccup in his last warmup and allowing others to continue pouring their money into the pools.

Pletcher is having a tough week. Julia Shining training great, but didn't make it into the Oaks, and now Forte gets scratched. Wonder if the CD Vets are pulling the trigger quicker than usual to scratch a horse that normally would start?

Well, I think it obviously comes down to eyes are on the scene.
Trainers, Owners, Stewards, and all connections with Churchill aren't effing around anymore. The spotlight is shining bright, and nobody wants to be associated with any horse that could possibly break down.
I'm a fan personally. Only sound horses should run.

If they knew Forte was going to be scratched, why would they NOT include him in DD as will get paid for sure if first leg correct?

Well, show me a screen shot of the other probables before I'd agree with you.
It's quite common for bettors to use the same number in both halves of a double, so 14-14 is lower than expected anyway.....

a&e is now the fav and the 5/8 exacta went from 209 to 139 because of this.
