And, he's claiming horses off REAL trainers and improving them.

That Dubb horse was rip roaring on Dec 27th of last year, she didnt like the off track, seemed tentative and exploded home and almost won from an impossible spot.

They "got out" in one start, the entire horse is paid for and then some. Anything they get after this is gravy.

Well done.

Richard Grunder is the Tampa announcer... it has nothing to do with what I assume you found at the Urban Dictionary after Gooooooogling...

He starts a lot of horses and scratches a bunch of them too. It is rare day that he doesn't have several entered. Today he had 3 entered and scratched one. He is a tough trainer to bet. He wins about 8% with in every conceivable category including first after a claim. Good luck betting him. If you have a key to betting him, you may have the key to the mint. I can't figure him out and can't get one of his horses to win even if I like it. I didn't get back from the doctor in time to bet the first race today, but there is no way I could have bet that horse. If you had him, Congrats.

Wow, you're spot on, it never dawned on me that Grunder was anything other than the last name of the Tampa announcer.

Really funny stuff by Harvhorse!

I don`t handicap him. I have made him an automatic when going off at 6/1 and up. A flat bet on these is profitable.

Since the start of the year, with 6-1 and up horses, he's 9 for 127 with $261 returned. While that is barely profitable, if you took a day off and missed one of those longshots (or because Persaud had lost 20 in a row), it's not profitable anymore. Though it's better than most trainers with longshots, it's not something I would count on as a blind flat bet.

Randi Persaud doesnt race a large stable so his barn pays his fraight. Hes a compitent trainer but nothing more. Not a big believer in peoplecapping. Would rather let the horses do their talking on the track and put the money inthe bank later
