Robin Burns - The new Presque Isle Downs announcer

Nothing like hiring a guy who hasn't called a race in seven years and wants to work cheap

i think Churchill Downs bought this place this year in case sports gambling becomes legal, which to me is doubtful.

Enjoyed Robin's calls at Freestate Raceway 30 years ago. I'm sure he'll do a fine job.

I don't care how many years it has been since he called a race; he's got to be better than that corpse he's replacing.

Damn, he’s been around. I pretty sure he called races at Scioto Downs years ago. Damn he must be getting old too....I was a teen back then.

He was fun to watch on TVG with exactaman, back in the day.

ROBIN BURNS

He was excellent 30 years ago. Given the state of affairs with a few unnamed people, if he is 75 percent of what he used to be, a hat tip to him. He is excellent or certainly was.
