Ortiz brothers "in the zone" at the Spa

Jose and Irad Ortiz are having a terrific meet at Saratoga this year. For example, watch the 9th and 10th race today (08/09/2019).

Irad on the #7 (8/1) in the 9th
Jose on the #5 (8/1) in the 10th

Both races, appear to be a "clinic" on race riding (ok I may be a tad biased).

When are they not up here? And this colony is the nuts. Irad seems to always have just enough late and his brother is fearless up the gut. Watch the last race yesterday.

Luis Saez is another one. Hierarchy was a thing of beauty Thursday and Sunday he rode A Thread of Blue like it was larceny. The others grab and hold....he lulls them to sleep and rolls. The rest are pumping late and he is chumping......
