Trump is gonna pass another tax cut by November

Huh? With Congress Gone, Trump Asserts ‘Major’ Tax Cut Will Be Done By November
https://d15zn84cat5tp0.cloudfront.ne...804x581@2x.jpg

President Donald Trump on Saturday made the dubious — at best — claim that his administration is working “round the clock” to pass a “very major tax cut for middle-income people” … by Nov. 1.

“We are looking at putting in a very major tax cut for middle-income people,” Trump said Saturday. “And if we do that it’ll be sometime just prior, I would say, to November.”

“We are going to be putting in, and are studying very deeply right now, round the clock, a major tax cut for middle-income people,” he added.

Asked for a timeline, Trump said: “I would say sometime around the first of November, maybe a little before then.”

What happens when congress returns around Nov 13th?

Don't count your pre-2019 Chumpy chickens. In fact other chickens are coming home to roost when the new congress starts

So some people do believe the best course of action is to double down on deficit funded tax cuts.

Trump has been increasing the tax base since he has been in office, tax revenues at all time high. President Trump asked all of his cabinet secretaries to submit a 2019 budget with a 5% decrease last week. Individual appropriation bills will be proposed for the 2019 budget not an omnibus budget bill. I think a balanced budget is the end game, just like the goal of every businessman.

I know, a very tall order, a lot depends on a favorable midterm election. The good news...... he is willing to compromise......the stable genius has the heart of a democrat and will not fold under pressure. The Trump Train is blowing black smoke.

I think your right. If the R's can hold both houses you'll see a balanced budget amendment before the next presidential election.

Trump Economic adviser Larry Kudlow is tap-dancing around the tax cut idea.

Quote:
Top White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow on Tuesday lowered expectations that President Trump's proposed middle-class tax cut would come to fruition shortly after the November midterm elections.

"It may not surface for a while. But that's his goal. That's his policy intent. I don't see anything wrong with that," Kudlow told reporters at the White House.

The National Economic Council director said the White House is working with the House tax-writing committee on a proposal.

Trump over the past several days has repeatedly promised that he would put forward a new tax plan before the midterms, stirring confusion in the White House and on Capitol Hill.

Aides say they have not seen the details of such a proposal, nor do they know how Trump plans to persuade Congress to pass another tax cut after struggling to secure enough votes for his first tax package last year.
