I've been missing Mr.Z. I wish he'd run every week.

Z scratched out of the stake opting for an OCn2x the following day. Looks like this one is done, doubt he races again.
However, the barn caught fire last week winning four races from eleven starts to go along with a few seconds and thirds.
Most impressive winner was Impasse, a 4yo filly coming off 180+ day layoff (lukas sports very low percentages with this angle.) Not only that, but she was a maiden in a first level Allowance field. Odd placement but it worked. Lukas also took a couple MSWs with triple crown nominees. Neither looked like world beaters but if we know him, they'll be in stakes races next out.

I expect to see Z in three weeks. Route allowance N$Y conditions. (Don't have the book, just guessing that's what Lukas will look for.)

Dear Mr. Z,
You are the first horse I became a fan of, because of the way you ran. You never quit like a spunky street kid in a fight with guys bigger than him. for me, you won every race you ran in.
Now go make some babies, and enjoy yourself. Hope your kids get a trainer that respects what he has, a fighters kid.

Enjoy retirement, Mr. Z.
It's a rare occurrence to be wrong about something in horse racing and not lose money because of it.

Per update, the horse is not necessarily retired. He has simply been taken to Calumet Farm from the Lukas barn at Oaklawn. Calumet has run horses off the farm in the past.
The original Blood Horse article has been taken down I believe (at least, I can't find it).

You mean blood horse reported fake or inaccurate news....I'm absolutely shocked (Sarcasm)
Their ineptitudes when it comes to online articles is startling....it's actually pretty disappointing coming from such a reputable magazine....but I've noticed that unfortunately their online articles tend to have a propensity for errors
