The Mad Parx win Bomber.

Has anyone noticed that in the last few days, someone has made HUGE win bets on favorites in the last race at Parx? There was a grey horse the other day from an outside post who previously raced at Aqueduct and she got CLOBBERED down to 1-9 at the bell, seemed like someone bet 20k to win on her at the very end of the betting.

I didnt pay attention to Parx today so i dont know if this big bet came in at the last possible moment, but in the last race, another cheap maiden race, the 5 horse ended up with 40+grand to win on her.

This guy seems to be 2 for 2, but you know he's going to take a dump sometime real soon betting cheapies to win in this fashion.

Yes got word Dana parham thought the horse should be a 1/50 favorite but thought 1/9 was a acceptable price...

the guy that is doing that is getting a huge rebate. he is playing the conditional wagering and pool analysis game. he comes in early and hopes they come in and bet the other way.

the same guy does this on a smaller scale in Mountaineer and Charlestown. he gets rebates that no one else gets. he bets in a casino that gives him back the breakage and they only make 1% of what he bets. even the large computer players don't get the same rebate as this guy. in my opinion, this guy will blow them out of the water in the long run.

Didn't the original poster state that the bets are coming in at the very last minute?

Does this pass the smell test? If he's getting a huge rebate, is betting some slab at 1/9 the best way to maximize profits? You could bet the same money in different ways, less risk, and get the same rebate.

Maybe he gets a bigger rebate on 1/9 shots.
