Yes, and if Germany had won, the terrible treatment by the allies would not have happened. And the Japaneses would not have been snubbed at Versailles so they might never have started their part
of WWII either.
WWI was stupid from day 1 and never got smart.
More people died on the last day, after the cease fire was knon,m than on D DAy.
Europe was totally stupid and greedy and WWII was their karma for it.
The last European to make a smart decision was the last one to leave it.

This is the guy that said Europe needs to militarize and then when the French President says Europe should militarize gets all butthurt about it.
Its safe to say 95% of what Trump does is devoid of any logical policy pursuit and just done because it sounds good to his Red Hat Supporters.

In all honestly...I don't believe that Trump is deliberately pandering to the base instincts of his Red Hat Supporters. To me...that would be giving him too much credit. I truly feel that Trump was born with a silver foot in his mouth.

He just says or tweets whatever pops into his head at the moment. Ready, fire, aim.

But that is a nice fall back view.

How does the Kaiser "win" WW1?
Unless they win in 1914-15 they were never winning.
"What if" history has to at least be possible. The Central Powers winning never was after the fall of 1914 and the onset of winter.

Completely possible but that gives him even less credit for his policy than I do.

He honed his instincts as a TV showman. The same medium his base understands and adores. He is a jackass on the world stage and in national politics, but can put on a great show with all the commercials in the right places
.
Pathetic he turned his base into a cheering TV audience with all the studio flashing signs telling them when to applaud, laugh and cry. There is no equivalency on the other side. No matter all the ridiculous "whatboutisms" babbled by his supporters. Mattere of fact he destroyed the republican party replacing long standing political norms with Trumpism.
On a positive note, we just witnessed the renunciation of Trumpism on Nov 7th.

Nor have I met any American citizens who "hate the guts" of their Russian, or French, or British, or Italian, or Greek counterparts. No one in Europe hates the Americans for placing their country first...for the mere fact that the Europeans themselves ALSO place their countries first. "Nationalism" is hardly a United States phenomenon. It is a WORLDWIDE delusion. Will we ever stop falling for this "fake news" bullshit that the press always parades before us? How different from the Russian, or the French, or the British, or the Italian, or the Greek citizens...do we really think we are?

If you're referring to my post I don't quite literally mean hating anyone's guts, though I'm sure some do. I've traveled Europe also, perhaps you and I don't see the same people. I do know this..ask any 18-50 year old European citizen how they feel about Americans and 9 out of 10 will be negative. Before and after Trump.
Trump's mouth isn't his strong suit. He has done a hell of a lot of good for the country though since becoming POTUS. Its kinda nice for a change to see progress and growth. Sure beats a brilliant speaker like Obama that turns everything he touches into shit.

This is the world we live in now because far left progressives, communists, and socialist love labels. Everyday we hear the same labels put on people and they define words however they benefit their political agenda. All of this stuff has been done before it's just that with social media everything is amplified.
Best not to play the game of arguing the meaning of words and the labels they try to attach to people. It's B.S. to the nth degree

What kind of "negative" comments have you heard the Europeans utter against the Americans?
