Obviously, things don't look good for the Dims right now.
But what are the chances that Jeff Flake walks into the Senate building tomorrow morning
hemming and hawing? ...
The next thing you know, Jeff Flake, Joe Manchin, and Susan Collins
are off having a private caucus somewhere. ...
Chris Coons is missing as well.
So is Lisa Murkowski.

The TV camera pans to Mitch the Turtle
standing in the middle of the Senate floor,
an angry, glazed stare on his face,
mumbling something about promises and commitment to Party.
Chuck Grassley stars yelling at anyone who will listen.
I could see it happening.

It ain't over 'til it's over.
This is the new normal.

No I'm implying politically she is done.

No matter what she decided this was her last moment of mattering. So I don't fault her for taking the stage.

She was in a lose/lose situation.

Palin in 2022, Murkowski just voted her political career goodbye. I bet she does not even run for reelection, but if she does and Palin challenges her, Murkowski is finished.

If that happened there would be leftists committing suicide at an alarming rate. well I guess I don't know if I would consider it alarming.

It's a lose/lose for the Dems, for she exposed them what they are and gave Trump what he wanted which drives the dimwits mad, and that, sir, makes it a win/win for Republicans. Plus she was the voice of reason and calm, taking the high moral ground, which stands in sharp contrast to what the dimwits represent.

^^^

Murkowski got the free pass today by Mitch McConnell to vote her conscience because he had the votes. She also loses about 20% of the electorate every cycle to a candidate to the right of her.

As far as Palin...
