California is my home state, and Santa Clarita is about 40 minutes northwest of Los Angeles.

It's an affluent area. Places like Valencia and Stevenson Ranch are around there, and those are the kind of towns that are predominantly white.

It's gotten more crowded in recent years though.

They are building a bunch of houses further up the hill. A lot of traffic to be added to Interstate 5 (yay).

There are still cities like Santa Clarita, Murrieta, etc. that see the light on issues like these.

People might also be shocked at the number of conservatives living in rural California. Their numbers are much lower perhaps, but they are much more passionate and dedicated. Not to mention they're a hell of a lot smarter.
