Hello FiveWide,

I show you receiving the following credit for your two winning races on 04/20:

LS05 --> $11 Exacta Box 5,6,7 --> The $2 payout was $35.40, so you received 5.5 times this or $194.70

EvD07 --> $11 Exacta Box 5,7,9 --> The $2 payout was $80.20, so you received 5.5 times this or $441.10.

If this doe not clear up the discrepancy, please p-m me your e-mail address. I'll then send you an excel file with your entire contest wagering history for review as to where we might differ.

Track Collector,

Please recheck my total as I have it at $2,466.

I canceled my first bet of the day (4/20 & thread #33) and re-entered (4/20 & thread #41). My wager was $264 leaving $2,368 and I won the $5 exacta yielding +$98 for a total of $2,466.

Thanks,

Bud

Hello budman,

Your exacta box was not allowed. It contained 4 wagering interests whereas the contest limits one to 3 wagering interests.

thanks to all involved in making this happen...much appreciated. even though my totals were terrible i consider myself a winner for having managed to meet all requirements without getting disqualified...lol...if you set the bar low enough you are bound to succeed!!! over and out.

Highrider sure lived up to his name. What a smashing result.

I got so engrossed in the battle of the teams, I forgot to make my last bet. What a silly disqualification.

Congratulations to highrider, who won the contest in convincing fashion. He sure was awesome! Also, congrats to all the contestants who showed a profit after the 30 races.

I personally would like to thank the sponsors of the contest, Jay Trotter, and Track Collector, who did an outstanding job keeping score. It was a pleasure to participate.

Congrats to highrider
A significant achievement to be sure

No doubt who was best this time around

***

I am surprised at the number of people who were disqualified
In my mind the requirements were fairly well laid out

I would welcome input for future contests
If there was info that wasn't clear or if the format could be improved

Twinspires is running a contest called Leaderboard. The number of required races is a range. Below are a couple of rules that explain it:

You will be allowed to designate 5 maximum wagers per day per bet type as your Leaderboard wagers and will be required to make a minimum of 40 Leaderboard wagers per month per bet type in order to be eligible for the Leaderboard.

There is a maximum of 60 wagers per month per Leaderboard. This can be completed in 12 days at 5 wagers per day or a mix of more days and less wagers per day.

I think the range idea would allow enough flexibility to cut down the number of disqualifications.

Congrats to highrider for winning what amounted to a pretty tough contest (at least for me ).

And a large KUDO to my SUNSHINE PRO teammate, Turkoman for finishing second.

Thanks, Beachbabe. Hopefully we will be able to celebrate once again next Saturday, and The Sunshine Pros can make it to the finals.

My input would be to have some give in the required races.Maybe 25-35 or 30-40.I like this format and didn't think it was difficult to understand but this gives some flexibility .

First my congratulations to Highrider also. And a big thanks to those who have created and scored this contest. In the future I would suggest having everyone click on a poll or whatever (like the one you set up a while ago) which confirms yes I have read and understand the rules before the contest begins.
