Vyjack

Very surprised I haven't seen any comments . He's getting many tweets .
Fans are concerned . I am very much so and it was sad to see him eased
on Saturday.
Poor guy had rehab , had ulcer issues and colic so to see him entered at that distance with this group was very disappointing .

Hope this boy is ok !

It was a horrendous "entry" for a trainer who normally wins more races at a meeting. Running 29-1 shots isn't going to get the job done in the long run.

Not that he is much horse anyway, but he belonged in the Belmont Sprint Championship. He was in the wrong race and I think thats very clear from looking at his pp's.

"Hope this fella's ok". Nj, I wrote these same words as you, yesterday afternoon in the Zivo thread. I'm not on Twitter, but have known that ...Vyjack has been run over his head since the 2013 Wood Memorial. He tries so, he runs hard every race. This is upsetting.

Absolutely. And pls Mr. Trainer unless the new blinks were protective eye wear, take them off. That's not the problem.

Looked horrible in the paddock and raced even worse. Be careful here though. I said the same about Immortal Eyes and got my ass handed to me by many on this board.

DRF's David Grening tweeted that it "might be time for retirement" after watching Vyjack being eased late..

His chicklet dropped out of the pack faster than I have seen before. I thought his transponder had fallen out at first.

I just found your post and we definitely agree on this horse . I actually
wouldn't mind seeing him in a new career . They're not all cut out to
handle the stress of this sport . He once had it in him and he's just not the same .

A little quick to jump to that conclusion. Like someone else wrote, the horse just isn't a distance horse. His dam is a sibling to Disco Rico, a decent sire of sprinters.

He would have been what maybe 10-1 in the sprint race? I think its insane that the connections ran him in that spot.

E1, thanks for posting the update on Vyjack. Hopefully, the turn back will be a favorable one for him. He tries so hard, giving all he has each race.

Would like to see Vyjack in the winners circle again. He's a fighter for sure.
