Happy Birthday Robert Goren
Our friend would have been 70 today.
You are missed, Perry.
Happy Birthday.
Some day in the not too distant future, horse players will betting on computer generated races over the net. Race tracks will become casinos and shopping centers. And some crooner will be belting out "there used to be a race track here".

Geez, Tom. 70 is coming up fast for us too.
Yeah, I miss his stoic wit.

With him you could disagree and remain civil. He was an honorable man and I enjoyed my interactions with him. RIP

Robert G
I can describe him in one word:'Equanimity" was his asset. No matter the attack by bloggers, he never stooped to low mark to get even. He always inspired me.
