The writer of the piece is definitely not in the "incompetence" camp. He's in the "evil" camp. Next stop is that Trump is the antichrist.

Rather than make a post intended to insult other posters, why not take a gander at supplying us with your opinion for or against the article and why? Are you afraid that your views are myopic? Erroneous? Based too much on standard leftist dogma? What I find fascinating is that you view yourself very fiercely as an independent thinker, yet make post after post that shows how captured by the left you are and apparently don't even know it. I think you would be surprised by where a fair-minded, neutral observer would place you on the political spectrum.

Perhaps despite his rhetoric, Trump and his advisors have absolutely no intention of "going it alone" and abandoning NATO for all intents and purposes.

Ever think about that? So what if he says it, as long as he doesn't do it.

Nobody is going to call his bluff on that one.

But someone may blink and cave into whatever his demands are, such as abandoning the 2014 2% or 3% or whatever number it is, for a higher percentage...precisely because of his rhetoric.

Or do one of the more entertaining things of attempting to shoehorn me into some political label that doesn't apply.

Do a search of "global hegemonic stability" on this forum... I've discussed it at length several times attacking both people on the left and right who call it into question...

But that's me actually attempting to have intellectual discussions on here... instead I get treated to posts like the one above...
