Things look worse for Manafort. The question is will Flyn survive with this going on?

Another Setback For Manafort As Judge Refuses To Throw Out Count In DC Case

A Washington, D.C. federal judge on Friday refused Paul Manafort’s motion to dismiss a money laundering count against him, in yet another legal setback for the former Trump campaign chairman

He’s going to sue for malicious prosecution

Not quite.

http://thehill.com/opinion/judiciary...or-real-crimes

Jonathan Turley,......

"True, the Constitution gives a president total discretion in the granting of pardons and commutations. However, it was not designed, and should not be used, to protect figures like Manafort or Trump personal attorney Michael Cohen. Shortly after Manafort was thrown into jail pending trial, Trump lamented, “Wow, what a tough sentence for Paul Manafort, who has represented Ronald Reagan, Bob Dole and many other top political people and campaigns. Didn’t know Manafort was the head of the mob.”

Additionally......

"Mueller filed new charges against Manafort in February, but did not include a raft of potential fraud and tax charges. As Vox reported, this omission could be a choice to create room for states to bring forward other charges should Trump pardon Manafort. "

Fantastic.

So this whole investigation really isn't about Russian interference in an election, but some kind of personal vendetta against the guy that was elected and those around him.

At least we got that squared away.

2) What is the scope of the investigation and could Mueller expand it?

Mueller has been assigned to probe Russia’s alleged interference in the 2016 election, which the FBI had been pursuing, with Justice Department approval. Mueller’s authority specifically includes “any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump.” Rosenstein’s directive also says Mueller can pursue “any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation,” including crimes like perjury or obstruction of justice.

Here is the offiicial mandate

Great!! A mandated witch hunt, when you find absolutely nothing regarding Russia feel free to dig up any dirt you may find associated with any Trump associates.

A mandate only you would endorse. Pretty soon Mule Ears will start a GoMe Fund.

Maybe youz don't understand... Horowitz never said Zip and Nada was there in the Clinton Email Scandal... It's a matter of what we know and what can be proven in court.

Now the Russian witch hunt... that's a whole new smelly kettle of fish. We got a whiff of it during the email papers.

Except that witch hunt is prosecuting high ranking members of the Trump campaign with crimes.

The IG report was a dud.

Even Trump turned on it.

Manafort took bribes from Russian oligarchs.

That's a big deal.

Then there is the money laundering scheme.

I get it though... you want to minimize the crime. I just wish there was a thread around here where the #MAGA crowd repeated over and over again the law is the law...

Not anymore. The law is not the law. Obama taught us that. Hillary and Jim Comey taught us that. I could give a shit about the law, short of murder, anymore. It’s my side against your side from now on. And we are winning because we finally decided to play by the rules as you do.

And it’s going to get worse.......for the other side

What if someone doesn't have a "side?"
