Sundays at 9:00am pst. is a show called thoroughbred LA. Hosted by Mike Willman and Kurt Hoover. Two seasoned veterans who bring the perfect mix of local and national coverage. Both are not afraid to express personal opinions which could even be contrary to the PC company line.

Well worth the listen.

I do some work on HRRN. There is a live show 3-6 Eastern Time Wednesday, Thursday and Friday which covers various races around the country (think of it as TVG/HRTV without pictures). These shows are live streamed on horseracingradio.net and most are also on Sirius 93 and XM 208.

6-7 Wednesday is a show consisting of trainer interviews. 6-7 Thursday is a call-in show and 6-7 Friday is the weekend stakes preview show. Replays of these shows are also available on the site horseracingradio.net

Equine Forum can be heard 8-10 am on Saturday and then there are occasional live broadcasts. This past Saturday we covered the Matt Winn, Fleur de Lis and Stephen Foster live from Churchill Downs.

Sam Spear has been in the industry for over 30 years and still has a live show in the Bay Area covering lots of topics (not just local) on Knbr, live streamed at knbr.com on Sunday morning 7-8 pacific time.
