The left has a very hard time learning from the right, they go into default mode every time. The right equally has difficulty in learning from the left, what the left does effectively is put us into a legal box. That being said we do that in this instance with these illegal border aliens and we blow up their grip. I do not know enough about this area of law, but can't we shut immigration down 100% temporary and eject everyone caught no hearing because of letting no one in ?

Why can't the families just contact the DNC for plane tickets and skip Mexico completely? The drug traffickers (coyotes) are now charging for human trafficking and who knows what they are using for credit or payback. Who wants their kids forced into gangs or prostitution?

The invaders are unknown quantities. Whether they are dangerous or not is what government vetting is all about. There is no compelling reason to implicitly trust any of those invaders. The universal Law of Distrust is the norm. The entire world works by this Law!

Why Building a Border Wall Is a Morally Good Action

Very good piece from a biblical perspective of why building a wall is a good thing. And at the end of the writer's argument he tackles several objections to a border wall.

the thing of it is, the whole purpose of legal immigration, is to MANAGE the development of our country. we have to plan for the increase in population, if that is what the populace wants, with enough building of infrastructure such as more hospitals, schools roads and so forth. and also remember we are in a country with limited resources and unlimited demand for those resources. the greater the population the less there is for our grandchildren and great grandchildren. a government has to make decisions based on reason and not the emotions of the moment. the president, and by the way i did not vote for him, is only doing what the previous administrations were derelict in their duties of doing.
and don't think it is a white versus brown predjudice that is motivating zero tolerance. actually the demographic polls show the other minorities in the country are most against the open border policies, as it is their skill levels that are in direct competition with those who come here illegally and uneducated.
in short, the u.s. treasury can not afford the influx of uneducated adults and their children entering the country.

Exactly right! And "manage" is good term, as is control. In fact, even going back to the bible and the way in which ancient cities were built, they were built in such a way as to have limited access through gates only. The writer of that article that I posted last night argued that the primaryses purpose behind a gate was to monitor who was coming in to the city. It was a security issue back then and it's a security issue today.

Today, all countries have their "gates", usually called checkpoints or crossing points today whereby a person can leave one country and crossover into another. Again, these official checkpoints serve to monitor who is coming into a country. Yet, migrants who want to sneak into this country undetected, don't enter through these "gates". They seek to enter surreptitiously to avoid detection.

Or let's use a local analogy closer to home. Many of us are homeowners. I own a home and have a "wall" (actually a fence) around the entire perimeter of my property. When I entertain or have workmen come onto the property, I unlock and open at least one gate to let them in. I don't tell them to climb over the fence. But the default position of my gates is the closed-locked position. That tells intruders (invaders, uninvited guests) that they need to seek permission before entering. Again, the gates in ancient cities and today's border checkpoints in all countries serve the same kind of purpose.
They both serve to monitor, control and manage traffic in and out of a country -- but mainly traffic coming in.

This is all common sense, rational and sensible. But I suppose this is why liberals don't get it.
