I know, I know, Im getting way ahead of myself here with Belmont 3 weeks away.... BUT, was just thinking horse racing has a real opportunity to take the casual Triple Crown only fan and extend them to intrigue in the Haskell.

It would really be easy to sell something like the following field. If you can't you probably got the wrong PR people.

Maximum Security
Omaha Beach
War of Will
Country House
Game Winner
Long Range Toddy
Bodexpress
Warrior's Charge
the eventual Belmont winner... etc..

Game Winner - Los Alamitos Derby ahead of Travers

Bodexpress - maiden special weight
Warrior's Charge - midwest Derbies


Haskell will probably be a rematch between Code of Honor and Global Campaign after Dwyer match-up

Haskell is a week earlier this year on July 20, with the Jim Dandy a week later on the 27th. Usually they are run the same weekend with the Dandy on Saturday and Haskell Sunday. What impact might that have on where some horses go? I can see WoW waiting an extra week after running all 3 TC races.

Ok with me, I like a good solid favorite as long as it's not something like odds-on. Actually, if we get anything like the field PoweUpPaynter posted it would be very competitive and great to watch.
