From the thread title:
and We Don't Trust Obama
Let's go back a little ways
On "Meet the Press" Jan. 22, 2006, Tim Russert and Sen. Obama had the following exchange:
Russert: "When we talked back in November of '04 after your election, I said, 'There's been enormous speculation about your political future. Will you serve your six-year term as United States senator from Illinois?' Obama: 'Absolutely.'"
Obama: "I will serve out my full six-year term. You know, Tim, if you get asked enough, sooner or later you get weary and you start looking for new ways of saying things. But my thinking has not changed."
Russert: "So you will not run for president or vice president in 2008?"
Obama: "I will not."

Politics, I was not too good with this subject
Now wwith Obama in his 2nd term, what are we doing, better or worse?
Me I see nothing getting better, except in some area's of the country , while others are dying , I mean really dying. I see no help in the near future either do you?
God bless this country, we could sure use it.

We are going downhill and most are just too stupid to realize it.
Do you know how many of hcap's people are out there wondering why they are getting less money in their paychecks in January?
and, many of his clown parade thing HC premiums are going down!
Patrick, you can't fix STUPID!

there was once a very similar answer to the very same questions posed to Ronald Reagan in the 1970's. he answered no differently, in the year 2013 Reagan is thought to be one of the best all time presidents.

The difference being that when Reagan ran for president in 1976 and 1980, he was not holding any office for which he was elected to serve.

Somehow I think the people of Illinois could care less that Obama bolted for the White House.

I'm sure you're right, but they probably should. Illinois has the 6th highest unemployment rate in the nation. And with Obama as President, it's not likely to get much better anytime soon.

How many Orangutans does it taker to FURTHER screw up a bad joke?
Only one, but there are at least 10 more orangutans who laugh at it. Not counting the original monkey brain who still thinks it's hilarious.
