double payoff

Hello,

I have a question for you all. I hit a double at Pimlico and the odds where 11-1 second leg 40-1. The double paid 259. Do you feel it should have paid more for 2 dollars?

computer assisted wagers... they can evaluate pools in milliseconds, and then pump bets into the pools even faster.

you should take up playing Oaklawn Park... they do not allow the CAW into their pools and the payoffs there seem to be pretty fair from what i have seen..

NYRA is no longer allowing the CAW into their pick 6 pools as well.

Lam,

I really appreciate that, can you tell me where I find the tracks takeout at. I tried Brisnet but I could find them.

How many runners in each of those races? I often played Pim and with short fields, exactas and doubles pay lower than expected. If you check the willpays at the track or on DRF.com at minutes before the first race, it will give you a good estimate of what you might win. I'll agree with you that for 11-1 and 40-1, the double payoff seems low; it sounds closer to the payoff for $1.

Took a look. 259 for 2 and a DD pool less than 4K and small fields. Good hit anyway, congrats.
