You were showing a sizable early loss, you made it up and broke even for the day...and you probably feel like a WINNER. I had a sizable PROFIT early on, I bet it all on the Derby and lost, thus ending up even for the day...but I feel like a LOSER! Which proves that, even though there is serious money at stake...this game is mostly MENTAL.

Quite true.

The mental aspect of the game should never be taken lightly.

It's the same with trading the markets.

Probably the same in poker (although I never seriously bet poker, so you would better speak to that then me)
